SBR Reporting with Tangelo
From fiscal year 2025, companies in the ‘Large’ category incorporated in the Netherlands, including Dutch subsidiaries of foreign parents, must file their annual accounts in inline XBRL (iXBRL) to the Kamer van Koophandel (KvK) under the SBR mandate.
SBR (Standard Business Reporting) brings the same structured, machine-readable approach as ESEF, but within the Dutch reporting framework. Tangelo builds on years of electronic reporting experience to support SBR reporting end-to-end: from preparing and tagging to reviewing and generating the final iXBRL filing package for the KvK.
Designed for the Dutch framework
SBR reporting introduces its own structure, taxonomies, and validation rules for the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. Tangelo aligns with these requirements while keeping your process efficient and intuitive. You can tag under Dutch GAAP (NL GAAP) or IFRS, work across multiple namespaces, and generate the correct iXBRL package. All from one environment.

Tagging fully integrated — no bolt-ons, no extra files
In Tangelo, tagging is built right into the reporting process itself. There’s no need to juggle separate Excel files or external tagging tools. Everything happens within one platform, from content creation through to producing the final iXBRL output for the KvK. Inline XBRL is generated directly from your report content, so there are no conversions or version mismatches. When updates are required, your team can make them quickly and confidently, without waiting on others.
One platform from draft to filing
No parallel Excel files or broken links
Built-in tagging and validation with no extra tools needed
Managing extensions easily
Not every disclosure fits a standard taxonomy element. When you need to define your own extension, Tangelo lets you do it directly in the same interface used for tagging — no handoffs or waiting on external tools. Extensions can be created, edited, and anchored to broader or narrower standard concepts instantly. During audit review, you can adjust and revalidate with ease. The editor gives you a clear view of which values use standard tags and which rely on custom extensions, keeping you fully in control.
Create and anchor extensions in the same environment
Adjust quickly during review with no delays
Clear visual distinction between standard and custom tags
Generating the filing package whenever you need it
With Tangelo, you can generate a fully validated ESEF filing package whenever you want—at any stage of the process. This makes it easy to share an up-to-date version with your auditor for review, even before the report is final. And when the auditor requests a change to the tagging or anchoring, you can make the update and immediately re-generate the complete package—no delays, no waiting on external providers. Validations are built into the process and ensure the output meets all technical requirements before submission.
On-demand filing package generation, as often as needed
Make updates and re-generate instantly for auditor review
Built-in validations to ensure compliance and completeness
One approach for all filings
With the introduction of inline XBRL for Large entities, Medium, Small, and Micro companies can now also use the same approach when filing to the
KvK. Standardizing on Tangelo lets organizations replace their current, more fragmented processes with one consistent iXBRL workflow across
every entity. The same process can also be applied for ESEF and UKSEF filings, creating a single, efficient way of working across the entire group.
