Tangelo achieves renewed ISAE 3402 Type II and SOC 2 Type II certifications

At Tangelo we believe that trust must be earned through consistent action and independent verification. This is why we invest heavily in our security, governance and control frameworks and why we undergo external audits twice per year.

We are proud to share that Tangelo has successfully completed its re certification for both ISAE 3402 Type II and SOC 2 Type II. These new assurance reports confirm that our internal controls are not only well designed but also proven to operate effectively throughout the full audit period from October 2024 to September 2025.

Why these certifications matter

Modern reporting processes require absolute confidence in the systems and partners that support them. Our clients operate in complex environments with strict internal and external requirements. Independent assurance helps them demonstrate that their reporting processes are reliable and that their data is handled securely.

ISAE 3402 Type II

ISAE 3402 focuses on the management of outsourced business processes with financial relevance. For many of our clients in the financial sector this is essential. The Type II classification demonstrates that our controls were tested over time and shown to operate effectively throughout the entire period.

SOC 2 Type II

SOC 2 focuses on information security. It evaluates our controls against strict Trust Services Criteria for security and availability. Type II offers stronger assurance because it validates the ongoing effectiveness of our controls rather than only their existence at a single moment in time.

Together these certifications provide our clients with a high level of confidence that their data and reporting processes are supported by a secure and well governed SaaS platform.

Continuous commitment to security and reliability

These new assurance reports follow our earlier SOC 2 Type I certification and our first SOC 2 Type II certification in January 2025. By successfully completing this new cycle we reaffirm that our controls remain robust and that our security posture continues to evolve with best practice.

We work with independent auditors twice per year to ensure a consistent level of oversight. Our next re audit is already scheduled for the week of March 24. This cadence reflects our belief that compliance is not a one time achievement but an ongoing responsibility.
