Australasia—the region including Australia and New Zealand—is increasingly embracing Tangelo’s streamlined platform to easily create annual reports and other investor relations (IR) assets. Since securing a multi-year engagement with a major Melbourne-based bank, we’ve continued to expand our presence in the area.
Tangelo is thrilled to be sponsoring and presenting at the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA) 2016 Annual Conference & Awards in Sydney—and ahead of that event on November 24, we’re proud to announce three new clients from New Zealand.
While our latest research on digital IR trends in Australasia hasn’t been released yet, we’ll give you a sneak peak of a key finding: New Zealand’s companies are largely falling behind.
Fortunately, some are moving to modern best practices—like New Zealand’s stock exchange, NZX. The stock exchange will use Tangelo to create and publish both PDF and online versions of its 2016 annual report. With Tangelo’s help, NZX will become the first company in the country to release a complete online annual report.
Joining NZX are two real estate investment trusts (REITs) also listed on the exchange, Precinct Properties and Vital Healthcare Properties Trust.
Precinct published its 2016 annual report with Tangelo this past August. “We are very happy with the end result and the board members were very pleased,” says General Manager of Finance Richard Hilder. Vital will use Tangelo to create its 2017 interim report in February, along with it’s “Vital Update” newsletters.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome these outstanding companies to Tangelo,” says Co-Founder Erwin Groenendal. “It’s been a joy to get to know their teams and see how we’ve helped them streamline their annual reporting processes.” Tangelo’s new office in Australia is set to open in the second quarter of 2017.
